A reporter tries to get in the courthouse to cover a story -- unfortunately he forgot to leave his Saturday night special at home......

  2. What kind of country are we living in when the Second Amendment doesn't protect a reporter's right to carry a gun into a courthouse?

I believe this is a d_b but MORE wine beckons and I'm too lazy to go look it up.

How exactly was he found out? A metal detector maybe, or did he reach into his pocket for a pen and pull out a revolver instead ...

It could be but I did a search of dude's name and didn't come up with anything. Also, this is similiar to something that happened recently somewhere else and I think there was a thread about it at one point.

And Demo -- You see, you are finally starting to see the light!!! ;D

You know, your friend squealed liked a stuck Irish pig when I shot him.

    Did it sound like that?

Once, just once, I want someone to actually be told to take a hike. Literally.

Security guard: "Sir, we can not allow you into the courtroom with that weapon."

    Reporter: "But, why not?"

SC: "Because we have rules. Now take a hike."

    R: "Where?"

SC: "Oh, right up in the mountains. They're about three miles northwest of here and you'll get a great view of the trial from there."

    R: "Thanks a bunch!"

"A man becomes preeminent, he's expected to have enthusiasms.
    Enthusiams... What are mine?
    What draws my admiration?
What is that which gives me joy?
    Baseball!"

I thought this was going to be another Mark Madden thread.

Clearly a D_B, but this post is about the guy getting fired. The first was an article from the Post-Gazette about the incident itself.
