Pirates fans planning walkout on Saturday

I would walkout for one half-inning.

When the Pirates came to bat in the bottom of the first, every fan should walk into the concourses. When the Pirates finished batting in the bottom of that inning, return to your seats.

I think 90 percent of the fans would sacrifice one half-inning to make a very valid point to the ownership of the team.

An equally valid question would be why should a fan of ANY team other than the Yankees care about what the Yankees do? Yet that seems to be shoved down people's throats all the time.

    Just sayin'.

Try not buying any beer, soda, popcorn, pizza, nachos, candy, hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, cracker jacks, etc. at the game. Make that the statement.

    There is such a rule.

A similar such walkout happened in Kansas City, some time in the last seven years. It was organized by a sports talk show host. As you can tell, it really didn't have much of an impact.

Even when games go to commercial everything gets shot, just might not get aired, but you can bet if there are masses of people walking out of the place it would find its way around and onto a truck melt.
Also, MASN shows O's games and didn't Oriole fans try the same stunt last year. MASN doesn't want to go piss Peter off.

Easier to spend 10 minutes in the concourse then to tell your kids there will be no peanuts, hot dogs or Cracker Jacks at the ol' ball game.

Mark Cuban doesn't want to buy the Pirates, he wants to talk about it so he is viewed as some cult hero but if he really wanted to buy them he could have already. He has no interest in it.

Hard to buy a team that's not openly for sale.
