Pioneer Press in Chicago seeks freelance writers and copy editors

Pioneer Press seeks experienced journalists to join its team of freelance writers and copy editors covering prep and college sports in Chicago's suburbs. Assignments include copy editing, game coverage and broader features related to the area's fall, winter and spring sports. Job responsibilities will include using Twitter and Facebook, so experience with social media is preferred.

Ideal candidates will live near Chicago and have access to a vehicle, but some of the available assignments can be done remotely.
