Photographer Opelika-Auburn (Ala.) News

The Opelika-Auburn News is seeking an experienced photographer.

This is a news job -- the photographer will report to the managing editor and will shoot news/general assignment stuff -- but WILL also shoot a lot of sports, namely Auburn University and plenty of high schools.

Again, I am not the hiring person on this, but since sports is a big part of what we do at the O-A, this is a very important position for us.

A small, award-winning daily newspaper in East Alabama is seeking an energetic, versatile photographer comfortable shooting big-time college sports, news and features. We feature a good press, award-winning color reproduction and full-color capability on most pages. Our photographer is responsible for posting slide shows to our website and for maintaining a strong photo presence on our Facebook page. He/she must also be comfortable shooting video.
