Philly Magazine Tierney story

    I don't know Tierney, and from this story, there are many reasons I might want to avoid working for him. But this point about "information bazaar" is exactly where things are heading. The sooner newspapers realize they are in the information business -- NOT the newspaper business -- the better. Your publication can't count on captive eyes anymore. You have to find them wherever they are, in whatever format they want.
