Philadelphia And The World Series Suggestions

So, a friend and I are seriously considering hitting the World Series if it's played in Philly.

My experience when going to "big games" is to buy tickets upon arrival, off the street and maybe even after the game starts.

But, there is always a risk of NOT getting tickets.

If that's the case, can anyone suggest a Philly bar at which to watch the game?

But, in my defense, I said "IF" the Phils make it.

 

I know. I'm just enjoying the Giants' run while it lasts.

 

It's Philly, every bar in the city can make the same claim.

McFadden's on the outside of the stadium is a fine choice -- I believe you can go back and forth if you do have a ticket.

 

Chickie and Pete's is a pretty good place.

 

I hear good things about a place called Paddy's Pub

 

Take your gloves and a winter coat.

Chickie and Pete's will be packed, but don't eat there. You can do much better elsewhere.

 

You'll be far more pleased/comfortable, watching at home.

 

You could climb on top of a traffic light and let people throw Grey Goose bottles at you.
