  1. 79 degrees today. I can't put up with six more weeks of this.

Mickelson does indeed cast a large shadow.

Someone should have put a .22 round into the fat rat's skull.

Six more weeks of winter? Fuck that. Bring on spring.

Sure they can. In PA, there's one who even does commercials for the lottery. ;D

The only worthwhile part of that freak show happened a couple of years ago, when the varmint got pissed about being dragged out of his cozy little burrow and bit the guy doing the dragging.

An acquaintance at the local weekly uses the occasion to write an annual "kill all the woodchucks" column, so as to lift the Woodchuck Curse that sentences us to "another miserable six weeks, instead of the normal month and a half."

    I'm not sure she's kidding.

I don't need a rat to tell me pitchers and catchers report in two weeks.

    That's why we've got Buckweaver.

  10. Are you sure that wasn't this guy?

Forecast high today 79, tomorrow 80.

Six more weeks of that? Cool.

On a more serious note, I have to ask this question: Given the sheer candlepower of the klieg lights and camera flash guns pointed at him, aren't the results a little skewed? Shouldn't the teeming hordes of media at this major public event be kept at a minimum safe distance of ... say, 150 yards ... so their equipment doesn't interfere with Phil's significant contribution to American meteorology?
