    Not a wife, or a webmaster, or a Wal-Mart clerk.

    Can we get back to Phil's rumors? Much better than mine.

    Junkie, c'mon. Rumors never go away, they get repeated as fact and innuendo and they can ruin a reputation in a flash. They can prevent you from getting hired or getting a raise or getting a date. Right?

    And then there are the rumors about Tiger that were just rumors ... until they weren't.
    Bottom line, about him or Phil or Tiki or anyone we cover who we think we know ... we just don't. Unless we live with them, and while there are some journalists who come close, they still never really know.
