Been around a lot of golf tournaments and talked to a lot of people, both media, players and tournament officials.
Based on that, I believe Phil signs autographs for two reasons, and two reasons only:
1. It makes him look good.
2. It makes Tiger look bad.
Feinstein knows as much on the inside as anyone. The Eddie Haskell characterization is spot on (for those of us who were alive to watch TV in the 60s).

His statement would have had more credibility had he said he was going to be pinched in his pursuit to get breast reduction surgery because he sure does (or did) need it. I haven't seen a good shot of him lately but a few years ago, he'd made women envious.

As for the rest of it, boo friggin hoo. ...snort...can't buy the Padres...sniff, snort....hey Phil, go hang with Stuart Varney, who thinks like you: "I gawt mine. Get yohs."
