Are we running out of internet? What's wrong with starting a thread that's actually about sports?

    Ps, running threads suck.

Joe Girardi just announced that Wilson Betemit is out indefinitely, with trench foot. Stunner.

Did Carl Pavano give him a ride to work?

Well, that explains his astronomical ERA.

Well the Yankees now need another starter ... and we all know what that organization does when they need to fill a spot.
Breaking News: Yankees trade Joba Chamberlain, Ian Kennedy and Melky Cabrera for John Smoltz and Tom Glavine.

After the non-success of Kennedy and Hughes, I wonder if they will risk bringing up Double-A stud Alan Horne. Or will they just bring up Karstens or Rasner and hope one of them can piece some decent starts together?

All joking aside, you make a solid point. Hughes was clearly rushed up, and the injury really doesn't have anything to do with it -- but he was rushed, and never really got a chance to catch his breath. The same could also be said for Kennedy, though I think he's a better example of the NY media blowing up a prospect to be something he's not. In any event, do they continue to rush guys for the now or do they find an alternative way to push through the injury.

Oh, God. Hank motherfucking Steinbrenner better not try to put Joba into the rotation. That would make me very angry.
