Phelps mad at Dan Le Batard

    LeBatard is nowhere near as funny as he thinks he is...but Phelps is a walking example of my astonishment at how so many pr people really have no clue.

    Phelps could have aced this in so many different ways. He could have played along, he could have taken a couple of fun shots at LeBatard, whatever. Instead, he comes across as a total bore.

    I agree with all these comments.

    I just think that Phelps is a fucking tightwad, and the question was innocent.

    So just who is Shane Bacon? I just find it's funny that Shane Bacon thinks Phelps' "15 minutes of fame (are) slowly fading away."

    Point well taken, EF, especially from someone who knows. No doubting that.

    But maybe Phelps doesn't have a great small-talk, BS chip. Should he be blasted for that?

    He's a swimmer, not an entertainer. LeBatard is becoming a bigger and bigger punk, highlighted by the verbal flogging he got at the hands of Jay Bilas.

    This always bears repeating: Le Batard would become a better human after being on the receiving end of a very public ass-kicking. I'm thinking a 10-year-old girl could do this with no problem.
