    Kind of a weird week with Manning, Hasan and Fort Lewis soldier Robert Bales, perhaps the three most infamous American soldiers, all convicted in the same week.

    I just meant because Hasan's crime was in 2009, Manning's in 2010 and Bales in 2012.

    So, from the sound of it, she's on active duty until the court martial appeal runs its course. That makes sense.
    Once it's denied she'll be dishonorably discharged and the benefits will get cut off.
