Students in Greeley, Colo., can't wear their Broncos #18 jerseys to school because 18 is considered a gang number (as are 13, 14, 31, 41 and 81).

I can't wait for the defiant dad who sends his kid to school in a 69 jersey because that isn't on the banned list.

 

I'm sure a lot of kids are already proudly wearing the # 69 of that great Bronco -- OG Wayne Tribue. # 69 in your program, # 1 in your heart.

 

I'm sure I've told this story before, but if I can Jonah Lehrer for a moment, in high school we had a math teacher who would say, "Let's open up our textbooks to Roxy's favorite number -- 69!" Roxy was a foxy girl in class. Big laughs all around, including Roxy. Doubt you'd get away with that these days. Not sure how he got away with it in 1992.
