Petrino has proven himself to be a Saban-like douche in the past by interviewing at LSU weeks after signing and extension and that's not even counting how he tried to get the Auburn job...

I have a hard time blaming him for wanting the hell out of Atlanta though...

 

And Petrino inherits a Dick for a quarterback.

 

And without Monk or a decent QB.

 

I can see the commercial now...

Tubbs: "Honesty."
Saban: "Loyalty."
Petrino: "Integrity."

All three together: "SEC Western Division football. Pure class!"

 

You forgot Nutt. He's got to be included in that mix for texting the anchorwoman 1,000 times in a month.

Nutt: "Fidelity."

 

It's one thing to bail on the gig because it's not as promised, but to do it over the phone, then barely talk to the assistant coaches on your way out and not even meet with the players ... well, pretty gutless. Guess character isn't real high on Arkansas' list. And will he leave when Jones and McFadden declare their going pro next month?

He might. I guess a lot depends on what the NFL people tell him about his draft prospects. If they say first round, I think he takes the money and runs.
