You know that a lot of players on teams everywhere donate major coin to charity. It's not always newsworthy, and if it is it rarely gets legs like this.

I assume you are being facetious.

I don't think blowing 55 grand at a steak house is a positive. But jesus cristo, can we spare the outrage for a day about how they should be donating to the boys and girls club, and all that?

There is nothing more annoying than people telling other people how they should donate their money.

Think of all the Hawaiian shirts 55k could buy.

.65 percent, if we're keeping score at home. Unless his salary is $85 million.

If Charles Barkley or Michael Jordan could limit themselves to dropping 55K a nights, including dinner and drinks, they'd consider themselves winners.

Great little contrast nugget with the mention of Nick Mangold celebrating his multi-million-dollar extension at Taco Bell.

Dead serious. The nouveau riche typically have questionable taste but at least they don't stash their money under their pillows like old money.

Did Dez's mom come to dinner, too, or was she busy at work?

The food prices are not outrageous for a steak house.

If each guy ordered 5 Prime bone-in 18 oz strips (the most expensive on the menu), and there were 40 guys it would only be $9,000.

If that number is right, it must have been bottle upon bottle of expensive booze.
