Not sure if he will be good at it. I don't like the way he comes across. That Skechers commercial he is in is terrible.

Even if he gets reinstated and is voted into the HOF, I don't see how any player could look at betting on baseball might being something you would want to do. I don't know how different his life would have been since the ban. Even if it was him and not Pinella who won the Series with the Reds in 90, he would have been fired eventually and back to the card shows. He's never been good on television.
The other interesting aspect is MLB doing a deal with Draft Kings.

How often will Pete Rose talk about Pete Rose?

What's the O/A on times he starts a sentence with: "I bet..."?

What's next, Barry Bonds as ambassador of good will?

Ray Lewis got a gig, so there is no shame in TV sports.

"Pete, as a former manager, can you give us some insight into why Joe Maddon didn't go to his bullpen when Lester started to really labor in the seventh?"

"Sometimes you have to think more about the long term. Maybe he only had $500 on this game, but a couple grand riding on the next two. In that case you want to save as many bullpen arms as you can."

"Thanks Pete. That's the kind of analysis you only get here on Fox Sports 1."

Jim Gray works for the Fox family too. A roundtable discussion would be about the only way the Rose move could be a positive one.
