    I'm sure this thread has probably been done before, but it could be fun to revisit.

    Mine (among many): Stores that don't open on time. You say you open at 6, damn it, open at 6. Not 6:01. Not 6:02. Not 6:10. A few weeks ago, I arrived at a hair salon at 10 a.m. on a Saturday morning. They didn't unlock the doors for another 15 minutes. Just putzing around in there in the meantime.

    People being late for something: I believe in the Vince Lombardi theory of being on time;

    If you're 15 minutes early, you're on time.
    If you're on time, you're 15 minutes late.
    If you're 15 minutes late, don't even bother showing up.

  5. What are you doing at a Hair Salon?

    Men go to barbershops.
    Without appointments. ;)

    Totally agree.

    If you're taking public transportation, or face a commute that has heavy traffic, you need to factor in potential delays.

    At Continental Airlines, if you were late for a meeting, you could expect to find the conference room door locked, and to not be admitted -- no matter your title and rank.

    George W. Bush famously had the same rule, and it led to Colin Powell getting locked out of a meeting.
