Armando Galarraga has made it through six innings untouched in Kansas City, which has already been no-hit by Jon Lester at Fenway Park.

 

Is there anything the Big Cat can't do?

Why do people try to jinx no-hitters during an afternoon game? Who the hell is on deadline?

I'm not just asking as a Tigers fan, either.

Can we get past the nonsense about jinxing a no-hitter/perfect game?

 

I've been watching the game since the top of the third, and I didn't even notice the no-hitter in progress until a buddy called me. The announcers are doing a good job of keeping this on the down low.

 

I don't buy it, but isn't that the entire reason these threads are started?

 

I thought maybe it was started to let people know -- regardless of deadline -- that a guy is pitcing a perfect game.
I guess that makes too much sense
