Seattle's Gil Meche is perfect thru 3 innings against the Yankees, with 4Ks.

I hope this is a jinx.

    Go Yanks ;)

A three-inning alert? You should be banned for a month, pal.

Don't worry...A-Rod will hit a home run to break it up and the assholes will boo him.

    A-Rod ;D

Pop fly ground-rule double to right to break it up in 5th

Wouldn't that have counted as a HR before 1920? I thought I read somewhere that 11 of BR's HRs were bounced.

It would have counted as a HR before 1920 but NONE of Babe Ruth's HRs were bounced.

In BY[D]H's absence, someone insert old-age joke here.

Spnited is right. The bounce rule was in effect, but none of the Bambino's homers hit the ground first. Trust me, all 714 are WELL-documented. There is no debate on this.
