Pepsi Summer Mix

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I just had my first glass of Pepsi Summer Mix, which is billed as a fruit-flavored Pepsi. Still the same color as regular Pepsi. It seems the key difference is that Pepsi Summer Mix tastes like shit.

I can't quite tell for sure, but it seems that the summer mix is a combination of cheap fruit-flavored liquor and a wad of spit from a 5-year-old with a mouth full of Skittles. Of course, there's Pepsi in it, too.

When I was in college, I mixed a 2-liter of Mountain Dew with a big bag of Skittles.

It didn't go over well. The Skittles also caused a reaction that forced pop to bubble out of the top like we had just shaken the hell out of the two-liter.

Hey, at least I tried.

 

While you're at it, try to put some Mentos in a 2-liter of Diet Coke.

 

No no no...I know better. This was pre-YouTube (hard to imagine, I know).

I had high expecations for the Summer Mix, based on the Holiday Spice that was good. (That might not be the exact name, but hopefully everyone knows what I'm talking about.)

 

Is the Pepsi Summer Mix anything like the summer mix of fuel the oil companies put out? Cleaner burning Pepsi?

 

Bought a 2-liter of Pepsi Summer Piss. Won't be fooled again. I swear I tasted soap. Maybe that's what makes it tropical: suntan lotion.

Has anyone tried the Diet Coke with vitamins yet?
