Penn State Collegian photog charged...via press release

    This was during the rioting that followed the Ohio State win.
    How he found out about it is, well, astounding.

    Because disorderly conduct will keep a photog from working.

    I guess the Penn State guy never met a photographer at a grown-up paper.

    I think he's pointing out how lame it is the photog found out via press release.

    I don't think I would have allowed the cop to take my driver's license. That sounds like bullshit to me.

    Agreed. Faced with that same demand, I'd probably assume I was about to be arrested. As for the press release ... wonder if they were going to bother to send him a letter, or wait until he didn't show for a hearing he wouldn't know about to issue a warrant?

    And just for old times' sake, fuckabuncha State College cops.
