I think it's down to 3 days a week. I can see it cutting another day in the near future.

Hm. Trying to think where this would be. Ark City is daily and I figure Winfield is, too, though I wouldn't call those southeast. Maybe Caney? I don't have any interest in the job, but who can turn away from a good puzzle?!

I got a tip that it could be Erie.

I'll call bullshit on "progressive," then.

Then again, I'll call bullshit on "progressive" anywhere in SEK. That's a big reason I left and will never move back.

Sounds like Erie. They've been trying to sell this paper for a while.

Unless it's Berkeley, Eugene, or Vermont, I don't buy it when the ad lists "progressive". Where are "progressive" towns?

Any town carried by Teddy Roosevelt in the 1912 presidential election?

I would be pretty darn suprised if this paper does not get sued by someone over this job listing.

What about Baxter Springs? That's one hell-raising town way up in southeastern Kansas?

I'm not certain but I think the Cherokee County papers have merged and are based out of Columbus.
