    I'm wondering if they think a husband/wife team would be more likely to settle down and stay there for a while versus a single person? I'd have to presume that they've had trouble getting publishers to stay.

    I don't know how many weeklies there are in SE Kansas (there's a lot of small dailies), so I couldn't guess as to where this may be.
