Pearlman writing Roger Clemens book

Discussion in 'Journalism topics only' started by WaylonJennings, Feb 3, 2009.

  1. Sorry if this is a D_B, but "The Rocket That Fell to Earth" is due out this spring, he announces on his Web site.

If I know Pearlman's books, it promises to be highly, highly entertaining if nothing else.

Talk about a guy who has found his niche. Also, I can't believe how fast he's starting to crank these exhaustively researched books out.

I'm looking forward to reading it, but shouldn't the title be "The Rocket WHO fell to Earth?"

It would be if Clemens was an actual human.

  4. And we can finally, hopefully, put to bed the talking point that the big bad media killed Barry Bonds but has left Clemens alone. Now he'll have his own book, too.

  5. Makes me wonder how "exhaustively researched" they are.

    Can't wait to read it.

  7. Well, he talks to a hell of a lot of people.

His Cowboys book was plenty thorough for me, and a great read. Made me want to read his Mets book too, though I can't stand the Mets. I'll look forward to this one too.

He talked to me about it, so it has to be full of great information. 8) 8)

I guess he does talk to everybody.

We'll try to ignore your part. :p ;D
