    true dat. but i'd hope that a journalist with an ego so huge as to require a blog would be more careful with his words.

    I believe (okay, I know) Boom is referring to the time Jeff famously popped in here under another name, asking if anyone knew why Jeff Perlman (sic) was leaving/joining (can't remember) Newsday.

    One word I've never heard associated with Pearlman is arrogant. Granted, maybe I don't hang around with the right folks. I don't know everyone. But I know a lot of people and the only one I know who might say something bad about Pearlman personally is John Rocker.
    And he's biased.

    Didn't read the original thing in question about Lupica. Just wanted to chime in on the whole arrogant thing.

    Jeff's a good guy. He has the Moddy Seal, not that that's worth a damn these days.
