Has anyone mentioned "Go"? I'm guessing you might like that one, Flash.

I also dig listening to Once and Alive back-to-back on Rearviewmirrow.

He's been asked about it, and he seems genuinely embarrassed. But he does tend to fuck it up.

Yellow Ledbetter is awesome. I remember when I first heard it (back before the days of MP3s) and I had to search around for a CD single where it was the second track because it wasn't included on their full albums. I'm glad those days are over.

Wish I had seen this thread earlier ... all good choices.
I'd like to throw out "Crazy Mary," Victoria Williams cover tune.

    "Make me cry ..."

  8. They did In My Tree when I saw them live in Detroit in 2000. Awesome.

Agree that Porch is their best live song.

Not so much on the true side there. I can't remember which show of the three shows from the Live at the Gorge release but they played it there. Those shows are from 2005 and 2006.

Again I have to pick nits, as long you're not referring to yourself in the second person. I have at least one live CD (Boston 03) with Jeremy on it, they do Oceans on the Live at the Gorge and I personally saw a performance of Smile in Buffalo in 03.

15 years later they're still the best fucking band in the world.

  12. clev, i meant live and in person. i know they've done all those before, just not when i was in attendance. and they are the best live band around after 15 years, with the arcade fire nipping on their heels.
