And Bryant is booming, ever since former congressman Machtley took it over 20 years ago.

After several frivolous legal challenges to the election results, our bathroom governor has finally conceded that he lost. HB2 was a major factor in his loss. Republicans won 13 of 18 statewide races. Ironically, a bill he signed in 2013 that did away with straight party voting may have sealed his fate. He got about 70,000 less votes than Trump. Under the old system, many of those would likely have gone his way.

Among my liberal leanings, HB2 barely gets a 'meh' from me. But the fact that this is going to prevent Duke and UNC from getting perpetual virtual first and second round home games is so fantastic, I can barely stand it.

New California law puts the kibosh on state schools traveling to play games in Kansas, North Carolina, Tennessee or Mississippi.
Not sure if it applies to games already schedule, or games in the future. Ole Miss and Cal have a home-and-home scheduled, at Cal in 2017 and in Oxford in 2019.
Will also be interesting how it affects postseason scheduling. Maybe there will come a day when every state and the NCAA all have so many no-go zones that nobody ever leaves their state.

California teams can play in those states in postseason if dictated by the NCAA.

Weak. Make them forfeit if you believe in the policy.

Just as a practical matter, they may soon be locked out from playing at any SEC or Big XII school. Mayyybe Florida, which is run by conservative Republicans too but tries not to screw with that sweet, sweet tourist money.

All of a sudden N.C. is working on repealing the bathroom ban.

Makes me wonder what we could get done in Alabama if Crimson Tide football was threatened.
