Lancey...increasing the number of people who pay taxes would increase tax revenues, right? Tax cuts broaden the tax base...but it probably wouldn't work right now.

The fact of the matter is this; as long as Obama is president and there is the specter of Obamacare hanging over this country's collective heads, companies are not going to hire. If Obamacare were repealed, and Obama made a promise to work on legitimate health care reform with both parties involved to be introduced sometime in late 2012, unemployment would drop tomorrow.

Yes yes the awful specter of Obamacare, from which we can only deliver ourselves by slathering on the Vaseline, bending over, and spreading cheeks wide for the wonderful generous insurance companies (which Obamacare also does for the most part anyway, but never mind that right now).

Because we know the kind and benevolent insurance companies have nothing but the welfare of all the American people as their ultimate goal. Only by placing ourselves at their mercy can the economy be saved.

And yes, he needs to "promise to work on legitimate health care reform with both parties involved." In other words he needs to punt on his own 10 yard line rather than his own 35 (as he did with Obamacare).

He fuckin' gave away the whole store (public option) before he even started with the ACA. Yet that's not enough.

Companies aren't hiring because their products or services are not being bought. Not because they're scared of Obamacare.

Forbes #1 ranked "Best Country to do Business" has universal health care and more government regulation than the US.

Bullshit. My 'day job' at the moment has involved dispensing stimulus funds to the manufacturing sector in my province.

As Bloomberg reported in January 2009, this stimulus was CAN$40 billion, equal in then-current exchange rates to US$32.6 billion, over two years (a similar period as Obama's US$787 billion stimulus).

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....yeah, real massive.

Awesome...you get to hand out pieces of that "immense" $32 billion over two years? How Keynsian!

Did you study proportions in school, UncleTom?

Has nothing to do with the topic. Love the continued racism you are displaying, though. Let me guess...Herman Cain is an "Uncle Tom" as well. Some people are so unapologetic about their racism it isn't even funny. Didn't know you were one of them, Stitch.
