    That's why Sherman burned it to the ground. There are only 3-4 buildings left on campus from before the Civil War, the president's mansion being one of them.

    Not only does the OC Register fail college football, they're no great shakes at determining what constitutes "snow covered."

    When I was a boy, not only did I have to walk uphill in a driving snowstorm both ways to get to and from school ...

    ... there were copy editors whose job it was to catch just this sort of error. They were deemed expendable because they didn't produce any revenue. How much do you suppose credibility is worth?

    Someone at the OCR was apparently thinking that that big-ass football stadium visible in the background, with a several-stories-high walk-up ramp in full view, is a civil war museum.

    My God, what do they take us for?

    Has anyone told Gene Stallings that he is a Civil War general? I bet he'd like the pension.
