Someone who gets caught with an ounce of weed, spends two months in the clink for it and then can't get a job for two years because of it has suffered more considerable damage than Kaner.

So, troglodyte hockey fans and Twitter users say mean things about him. Hundreds of pro athletes deal with the same thing every day.

I don't know what the "cut off" is, but Kaner is going to be bringing home in excess of $10 million every year through the rest of this decade. That ain't it.

    Justice was served.

That's resentful horseshit, MC. It's not suddenly ok to fuck someone over because he is affluent.

    OK. How about Bill Cosby?

Cosby has been damaged much more considerably, in large part because he hasn't been formally investigated, thus there's no chance for him to be formally exonerated.

Kane was investigated and exonerated. Justice has been served.

He's not being fucked over. He is living a life of privilege.

He will not spend a second in prison. He was never even taken into custody, to my knowledge.

He was not charged with anything, and won't be. Justice was served.

He's not being fucked over? He has already been dropped from endorsements. His reputation, which affects his future earnings as well as his happiness and well being, has been irreparably harmed.

That he was affluent to begin with has nothing to do with it. That he won't spend time in prison for something he didn't do is not consolation.

He lost endorsements and despite the money he makes I can't imagine the last couple months were a lot of fun.

You'd be ok if you were falsely accused of rape, were publicly shamed for two months until you were cleared?

Your level of wealth should have nothing to do with it.
