    a lot of these kids will use their scholarship money then max out their student loans as well, and then you've got some extra cashflow

    or a booster coulda bought it, either way...

    Has college football really gotten this bad?

    A kid from the hood in Miami gets shot for no apparent reason in a murder that still has very few answers, drives cars well above his income bracket, and the first thing we think is University of Miami boosters?


    Don't know Pata, and I know he's been hailed as a great kid. . .

    But even great kids get involved in stupid things.

    Has anyone even mentioned the possibility of drugs?

    People with cars well beyond their means is also hardly a phenomenon unique to college football players.
