    UConn now is where UCLA was in the early Seventies, in the Walton/Swen Nater days when Wooden had All-Americans stacked 10 deep on the roster.

    Great coach?
    Check.
    Great motivator?
    Check.
    Great innovator?
    Check.
    Graduate her kids?
    Check.
    Every great quality a college coach needs, she had. But those who remember that HBO special a few years back will remember that there was a dark side. When coaches like Summit, Bob Knight, Woody Hayes, K, etc. get all these accolades. I remember that it is possible to win and be revered without being a total SOB all the time (Bowden, Dean Smith, John Wooden, etc.).
