Pat Summit to pull a Bruce Pearl

I'm just praying that Bill Self never -- NEVER -- gets some extra support from Mangino.

 

Another thing about Pat Summit. She is a big time coach who will return calls -- even from out-of-state papers.

 

Was there a better place to be in the sports world last night than the Florida-Tennessee game (unless you were a Gator fan)?

 

She knows how important she is to the women's game and generally acts accordingly.

 

I wonder if Pat's hubby called to tell her to keep the outfit on, I'm feeling frisky.

 

Probably not since they're recently separated and in the middle of a divorce.

 

In tonight's performance of "A History of Violence," Maria Bello will be replaced by Pat Summit.

 

I awoke today to the clip on SportsCenter of Summitt singing "Rocky Top." I thought it was very moving. It seems like coaches at UT are really enjoying their lives these days. It's a side of Summitt I've never really seen before.
