Passport question

    You know, I meant to go looking for your thread the past two weeks, curious to see whether your wife got the passport in time. I'm glad you did, because otherwise, that would have been something else.

    I applied for my first passport April 19 at town hall, down the street. Still waiting, but no rush, I applied now knowing that there would be a wait. Just wanted to make sure I got it in time for 2008.

    FWIW, State Department Web site now saying regular service is taking 10-12 weeks, while expedited service is taking 2-3 weeks.
