Part-time sports writer - The Shelbyville News (Indiana)

    The Shelbyville News (Shelbyville, Ind.) is looking to hire a part-time sports writer. The selected candidate will work with sports editor Kris Mills (@KrisMills37) and a group of photographers.

    The position is approximately 20 hours per week and requires weekend work.

    Shelbyville is located 25 miles southeast of Indianapolis. Shelbyville, Triton Central, Morristown, Waldron and Southwestern are the five high schools in the county. The selected candidate will primarily cover high school sports and focus on game coverage (social media) and feature work. However, professional and college coverage is possible.
