My computer is going way to slow for me to get through this now, but I figured the sci-fi geeks here would be interested in this.

Thanks for the link. I'm into this genre.

The list lost all credibility for me when Mars Attacks! was listed at No. 33.

I refuse to click through 50 pages to see the whole thing.

There's definitely some debatable rankings in there.

That took me a while, but I haven't seen like 75% of those flicks. A lot of them are from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. I suppose I should be more versed in sci-fi. I'm of the Abrams generation, though. Early X-Files was too difficult/strange for me to grasp.

So, what do you all rank as your top 5? 10? Why?

The summary of 'Quartermass and the Pit' claims that ancient astronaut theory is 'hack science speculation.'

I was offended and stopped reading at that point.

It WAS annoying to have to click through all of those pages.

They lost me when they ranked Starship Troopers ahead of Star Wars.

Ditto. I'd like to see the list, but fuck it.

If believing in ancient astronaut theory is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Quartermass and the Pit is an awesome movie.

I haven't been able to get it. I've got it saved on Netflix, along with 'Cronos' and 'Decline of Western Civilization.'
Who know when I'll ever get it. I've had stuff saved for a year without getting it.
