Parents say whiny kid shouldn't have been removed from plane

    I had seen AirTran before, but I've never flown it, never really noticed it until scrolling through flights on Expedia, Travelocity and other Web sites like that this past summer, making plans to attend a friend's wedding.

    T-minus 20 hours until I fly with my 17 month old daughter to Florida. Let's hope that we aren't kicked off of the plane -- I bought a portable DVD player to distract her.

    A little Benadryl will last a lot longer than a DVD.

    It's a shame that you can't bring liquids or I would suggest a flask.

    My Friday lunch is going to be me, Mrs. W., my daughter, my wife's 89 year old grandmother and three of her friends from the retirement community. Forget a flask, I might need a jug of booze.
