PaPreps, part of the Rivals.com high school network, is looking for a few good interns for the fall semester.

PaPreps (http://papreps.rivals.com/) covers high school sports throughout the state of Pennsylvania, focusing heavily on recruiting and feature stories. Football season is fast approaching and PaPreps needs a few interns located throughout the entire state to help augment coverage.

This is an unpaid internship. Sorry, but the only compensation we can give is a regular byline on a Web site read throughout the nation. Oh, and a hearty thank you for good work and whatever you need filled out in regards to getting college credit for the internship.

We are looking for interns based throughout the state, especially in the Philadelphia area (preferably in the city, capable of covering Philadelphia Public and Catholic Leagues), Southeastern Pennsylvania suburbs (capable of covering the Bucks County/Delaware County area), State College, Erie, and Harrisburg.

We have the Pittsburgh area covered well, but we need help elsewhere. This is a guaranteed opportunity to write and cover high school football in one of the best football states in the country.

Still interested? Email PaPreps publisher Andrew Chiappazzi at achiappazzi@yahoo.com with the following:
    - Resume

    - Location, availability, and flexibility (Where are you based and how far are you comfortable traveling? Do you have a car or are you taking public transportation everywhere? Can you only work Friday nights for games or can you do some work during the week as well? That sort of thing)

    - Most important, three writing samples. This is a writing intensive job and we need to know what you bring to the site. We can do play-by-play accounts of games off of the box score. We need the why and how of the story, especially when it comes to keeping track of our top recruits and teams. Your samples don't need to be sports oriented, but if it's something from your campus paper or other work, it would help. Word document attachments, PDF files, or links to published works are all accessible.

Thank you. Feel free to email or PM with any additional questions.
