Paper blurs players who give "shocker" in team photo

In the Wichita State media guide, and the team football and basketball pictures cheerleaders, fans and players are giving the shocker. They also have foam fingers that say shock 'em... I will work on getting links to those things.

I had no idea that was an obscene gesture. I'm shocked to learn this.

 

If there were a problem with the photo as it stood, the paper shouldn't have run it and kept quiet about why they didn't run it. Period.

I think this is all much ado about nothing, personally.

My question is, why hell is the paper running a boring-ass team photo with its preview? Get out to a practice and get some action shots or something, fer chrissakes.

I loathe team photos. Never run em in my section.

And I wouldn't have run the foto. Definitely would not have run it blurred. And if I was the photog, I'da told the little fuckers to knock that shit off right now.
