About three inches of snow down in my part of the South.

The whole world is closed tomorrow and the state troopers are shutting down the interstates.

Jim Cantore just tweeted he'll be live from Piedmont Park all day tomorrow. When I get off work, I'm getting my ass over there!

As of now, we are expected to report to work tommorrow. Love to see how that plays out since this is the DOT's take on the county I work in and the county I live in.

All you have to say is this:
Alabama State Troopers say Shelby County interstates, state and U.S. routes are impassable and are asking motorists to stay off the roads.

Just passed 8 inches here in about 3 hours. Shows no signs of letting up.

Midnight weather update on the local CBS affiliate is now saying we'll get 13 inches. I seriously doubt we've had 13 inches total in the last 10 years.

Also got to experience intense thundersnow for the first time. Lightning seemed close by and everything had kind of a bluish-purple tint when it flashed. Had never experienced that before.
