Palestinian shot dead after Jerusalem attack kills two

LA Times:

Two Palestinian teenagers were shot to death in Jerusalem on Saturday, officials said, after they carried out separate stabbing attacks on two Israeli civilians and two police officers.

 

It's as though newspapers no longer even want to be considered to have credibility.

I can't wait to see the Independent's headline:

 

I saw that video this morning ...unfortunately. Bystanders verbally abusing a profusely-bleeding terrified 13 year old kid is not an image easily dislodged from the mind.

Hard to wrap my head around the level of mutual hatred on both sides over there. I mean, when one's first reaction to the sight of a dying kid is "let's taunt him.."

 

The lesson may be that sometimes it does make sense to bring a knife to a gunfight, IF it creates a sympathetic global media narrative about oppressors with guns vs. poor oppressees with mere knives.

That's what I figure must be the intent of these suicidal knife attacks ...and it may actually be kinda working.
