Nobody called you a racist. Aren't you listening?

Yes. If we're gonna have a thread about a child being needlessly murdered, it's only logical that the cause would be part of the discussion.

Of course, the other option is just not to allow these kinds of threads at all.

One day this Taliban shit or Sharia law will surface in Europe, and after that, America, and gain a foothold in the bureaucracy that is our legal system. Because we tolerate radicals who hate us.

14-year-old girl shot in Pakistan and the 14-year-old boy shot in Chicago are both needlessly murdered.

    Now what?

And the other side typically calls anything not seen as "tolerance" in their book as racism.

Cranberry: Are you going to target black kid on black kid crime? Or do you back off of that because you'd think of it as a racist statement? Because like it or not, that's how a lot of 14 year old kids in this country die.

Not sure what your post means. In what way is this a case of us tolerating 'radicals who hate us'?

    The 'other side' of what?

Az, the 14-year-olds in Chicago aren't targeted.

As Rahm has told us, they just get caught in the crossfire because the gang members won't "move away from the children".

Am I going to "target black kid on black kid crime?" Target it for what and on what basis? And what does my simple, peace-keeping suggestion that we try to avoid conflation of the Muslim religion with the acts of whacko Taliban have anything to do with black-on-black crime?

I think we need to realize that the Taliban are extremely religious Muslims. As Muslims get more religious, they get more radical.

And, the Taliban, and Mullahs the world over, are trying to recruit more Muslims to their way of thinking.

Should we have a plan to combat this? Do we? What should the plan be?

If we -- or someone else -- don't combat it, the "problem" is likely to grow, and more 14-year-old girls will be targeted for assassination?

    So?

A 14-year-old is murdered there. A 14-year-old is murdered here. Both are dead needlessly.

Why focus on the one murdered half a world away when there are kids up your own block you might save?
