Sorry, but I'll put the odds that someone -- even a Packer's fan -- would want to move from Chicago to Green Bay at less than zero.

I'm pretty sure that a customer would have been more offended by being lowballed on their trade in like most car customers.

And in the spirit of the thing, a lawsuit will be forthcoming

A Bears fan car salesman in Green Bay probably would have just called in sick with a fake knee injury ;)

Guy must be a heck of a salesman, he's already landed a new job:

Probably hurts his chances for a large settlement in a lawsuit.

Heck, the manager should have used the situation as a way to sell cars.

Have the salesman pretend to be a Bears fans and show the Packers tie to customers, and tell them, "If I get you in a car today, I'll wear this Packers tie while you drive it and while I draw up the paperwork."

Instead, the manager picks a fight, and looks foolish in the process. How many customers are going to decide not to buy a car because the salesman is wearing a Packers tie? And if they are, they're just as stupid.

There are no innocents in this story. The manager and the fired employee are both colossal douchebags.

If my boss tells me not to wear something. I don't wear it.
