    And here is what you have to love about Big East basketball - Georgetown has not made a basket in the past 8:30 or so -- and is still poised to win...

    The report says it will be at the MGM Grand Garden. That's been reported in various spots all week.

    My thinking is there's only ONE thing Mizzou can do from here on out that it can NEVER do again: Beat ku in its final game in the league, and win a Championship on the way out the door.

    The Southern Conference held the first men's basketball tournament, at Atlanta in 1922. The Southern Conference Tournament remains the oldest of its kind in college basketball.
