    1) Nobody cares about the Pac-12 tourney anyway (or really any of them for that matter).

    2) No conference tourney should ever be held outside the states in which the conference has member schools.

    3) Why don't they hold it in Hawaii?

The SEC could do a split format. Kentucky games at FedEx in Memphis, all others in Tunica.

I disagree Starman - the Big East Tournament is a huge deal and don't forget it!!!! [\John Marinatto telling the world why his conference is still relevant.....

Some folks in the ACC would like a word with you, Starman.

(True, it no longer determines the conference's one representative in the NCAA tournament. But because it was the first and because of how seriously the league takes its basketball, it still holds significance with the fans.)

This Mizzou fan would gladly take a victory over ku in this weekend's B12 Championship Game combined with an Elite Eight appearance over a Final Four this year.

The 10 fans who attend the Pac 12 Tournament in L.A. are going to be pissed.

  8. 1. Disagree w/r/t the Big East Tournament and the ACC Tournament.

    2. Agree.

Just about every conference would benefit from cutting their tournament to eight teams. Some of them should cut down to four. Honest to God the best neutral site crowd I've seen was for the freaking OVC, and it took a once in a lifetime Murray State team to do it. Between the SEC, ACC and Pac-10, that's probably 45k empty seats right there.

Most brain-dead logic/reasoning ever. Let's make a suggestion that totally refutes a claim we're trying to make!

Think about how ridiculous it will be once the gang is all in the house in the Big East. I think, now that Temple is joining, there are going to be 19 full members - how the hell do you structure a tournament with 19 teams?
