    Description:

If you have a passion for sports and the Adobe InDesign skills to match, we can offer you an exciting career opportunity.

Paxton Media has an immediate opening for paginators on its sports copy desk at its production hub in Owensboro, Ky. The position offers the chance to produce an array of exciting sports pages for the multiple publications designed and paginated by our copy desk.

In addition to having a wealth of sports knowledge and InDesign prowess, ideal candidates will have a background in journalism or English; however, all applicants with InDesign experience will be considered. In addition, a working knowledge of the Associated Press stylebook will be a plus, as will a proven ability to meet deadlines while producing accurate and visually exciting work.

This is a full-time position that includes a full benefits package, as well as the opportunity for rapid advancement.

If this is the opportunity you've been looking for, email your résumé to Scott Hagerman, production hub manager, at shagerman@messenger-inquirer.com, or you can mail it to 1401 Frederica St., Owensboro, Ky., 42301.
    Interviews will begin immediately.

I'm a sports reporter here and can answer questions about the paper itself, but email Scott Hagerman about specifics for this job.
