I really like NBA players that are really long and can score the ball.

That one makes me sick. Especially when it started trickling down to high schools, i.e., "Podunk West Nation."
You're a school district, not a damn nation!!!

Anything involving a player using video game moves: hits the X button, uses the hit stick, or whatever the hell they say.

Whenever I hear about "long" NBA players, my mind goes in the gutter.

How about "breaking it down" in general. Analyst never can analyze a game anymore. They have to "break it down."

As does mine when a coach or analyst says, "He's great in the locker room ..."

    Probably more over-used than cool.

NBA big men referred to as "bigs." Doc Rivers loves that phrase.

Coaches who use "in this league/conference..." As in, "You can't get away with having an off night in this league." You can't imagine how many crappy leagues I've been told were the most competitive, cutthroat sports organizations this side of "The Most Dangerous Game." High school lacrosse, college hockey, MLS -- doesn't matter. "This league" is a force of nature, apparently.
