    Well, that will take precedence over any outing.

    No baseball, just eating and drinking.

    This will be SportsJournalists.com's first official 60th birthday bash.

    The trips go from east to west. KC would be 2010 or 2011.

    Baltimore would ensure I'd make some sort of appearance. Philly has at least the possibility. Baltimore has crab cakes and little Italy. Camden Yards is still the best ballpark out there. It's also got a super duper fantastic sports museum right next door.

    NOT the official 2009 outing but ...

    For those who are unaware or have forgotten (and we're supposed to be the old, forgetful guys) JR and I will turn 60 within a couple days of each other in September, 2009.
    Since early Sept. means HS football for many of us (me included) we are planning a mid-August birthday bash in NYC. Might be 2 or 3 days or it might be a whole week.

    Everybody is invited. Details to come after the New Year.
