God, I miss electric football. Every play, an adventure. 20 yard loss or a 30 yard gain. Bzzzzzzzzz!
My Dad and I had all of the SEC and NFL teams painted and ready to go. I might need to break mine out of the closet and enjoy.

All-star games just don't work for football the way they do for basketball, hockey and baseball (even those I find somewhat boring). The injury risk is too great to play it any time but after the season ends and, by that time, people have lost interest. It's almost like watching flag football.

I'd be curious to know the attendance and TV ratings for the Pro Bowl vs. a typical preseason game.

The ratings are usually surprisingly good, actually... Not NFL playoffs good, but still good.

It's in Hawaii, but Aloha Stadium still looks like a dump.

Or a place that's been around for, say, 40 years or so. It's fine for University of Hawaii and they really have no incentive to make it anything fancier.

Yeah, I doubt too many people complained about the stadium... :D

Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Hawaii is one of the shittiest places on earth to have a football game.

In the mid-1990's, I won $25 at work against a colleague. We had to work that night, bored out of our minds, and "to make the day interesting", I had the NFC -2.5.
