Watch Fox? Seen the promos for Our Little Genius? Wondered how the hell a show like that got a green light and then wondered if it was rigged?

    Well, here's the answer:

I wasn't going to watch anyway, but I'm pleased that the show won't be aired.

    Phew.

I was afraid that this was going to be a thread about someone's offspring.

My reaction when I saw ads for it was "You've got to be kidding me."

What I want to know is whether they fed answers to the Little Geniuses or the adults who appeared to be competing against them.

Or maybe if they gave bad info to the adults to make the geniuses look smarter.

I watched the trailer on the link that Jay posted.

    What a piece of crap.

That kid is the same one The Soup has been making fun of all year for his appearance on Regis after the elections. The kid is a spaz, and I'm shocked they gave him a show.

The trailer on the link Jay posted was for a movie from years and years ago.

I saw an ad for that show and thought "How low have we sunk?" though I knew we're already so far down as far as taste and intelligence in TV shows. So glad someone fell into some sense.

I read an article on the show that might have even been more damning. Apparently the kids win money, but the parents say "when" and can end the game and walk away with the loot.
Anyway - the producers pre-tape "wrong" responses to answers before the show with the kids smiling gamely in order to avoid having to show a kid spazzing out and melting down after realizing he or she cost their family $250,000.
I was surprised a guy I like as much as Kevin Pollack would be part of this. This show is Mark L. Wahlberg territory.
